Our Story
Caffe Fernet comes from Jigger & Pony Group, founded in 2012 by Indra Kantono and Guoyi Gan on a simple idea: build spaces in the community where people find comfort, forge friendships, and share happiness. The Group’s flagship brand Jigger & Pony is currently ranked No. 9 on the Asia's 50 Best Bars 2026 and The World’s 50 Best Bars 2025 lists.
The same convivial hospitality that earned that reputation is what runs the kitchen and bar here at Caffe Fernet. The group has grown into a family of bars and restaurants across Singapore and Jakarta, each with its own identity.
Caffe Fernet sits inside Customs House, a heritage building at 70 Collyer Quay — officially part of Singapore's Downtown Core, the same stretch that gives the restaurant its neighbourhood claim. It's a five-minute walk from Raffles Place MRT, making it a part of downtown Singapore’s daily rhythm.

The Kitchen + The Bar
David Tang and Dean Ng lead a kitchen built around bright, coastal Italian flavours — Mafaldine Cacio e Pepe on the everyday menu, handmade pasta on weekends.
Behind the bar, Keshav Kumar runs an aperitivo programme rooted in Italian tradition: Negronis, spritzes, signature cocktails, alongside a wine list that runs deep on Italy.
The work has been recognised along the way — a Top 10 International nominee at the Spirited Awards across multiple years including 2026, and featured by Tatler and 50 Best Discovery.
